Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - MDS markings?

I am getting ready to buy a handful of mags for my 92 and I saw cdnn had some marked "MDS" that were factory new and a bit cheaper than the unmarked. So what is the deal? Is it supposed to mean military only or something? I would assume they are legal but do not know. Thanks for any input.

MDS is a wholly owned subsidiary of Beretta in Italy (up the road just a little way from the factory). They make the Beretta factory mags now.
As long as high caps aren’t banned in your state, they are 100% legal.  --ST
