My SWR Trident 9 requires a booster to function properly.

Depends on the weight of the silencer, my SRT Matrix doesn't need a booster.

I'm form 1ing a pistol suppressor & have to have one for my other pistols anyway.

I use a booster on mine, I mean it doesn't hurt. Mine is very reliable, no issues.

If you don't use a booster the suppressor will need to be light enough and you may need to play with the recoil springs to get it to work right.

You might want to get an HK P9S to suppress if your suppressor is too big and heavy with no booster. The HK P9S has a fixed barrel. You can even three lug this gun, which is pretty cool.

Running the Omega 9K with a fixed mount is night & day better than running it with a booster. Won't cycle cheap 115 grain with the fixed mount though.

with lighter springs I can run an Octane 9 which is a pretty heavy can.   I thought boosters where to be avoided if possible with 92s...
