I've already started buying stuff for my current M9A1, I have an E2 hammer and oversized checkered mag catch on the way from Beretta, a short reach trigger and Wolff TCU, I am going to try the extra power one this time. Lok grips, WC mag guide, fluted guide rod and flat wire spring.

That's $100 more than I paid shipped, so I feel like I did alright. I'm planning a G kit, and a D spring for now. Not going buck wild as I'm new to Berettas and have to hold back some funds for holsters instead of hardware.

Just got my Lok grips for my M9A1. Added a short reach trigger, standard power TCU,  #16 hammer spring and Vertec spring cap. I have an E2 hammer, oversized mag catch, Wilson Combat mag guide and G conversion on order. I am going to send the slide out to Ameriguns USA to have them install their night sights.

It was a lot more stressful than it needed to be, but my M9A1 is in my hands! Took it shooting on the way home and can say I'm definitely in love. Hitting in the same 8" area at the 75yd berm  offhand is nuts. Definitely planning on more. Oh, and I'm definitely putting the G-kit on this before I try to carry it. Flipped the safety on twice while reloading.

Since PB decided to screw with everyone photos there's going to be a lot of dead pics here now. Here are some of my Beretta pics, now on Imgur, which is nicer to use and free.

Nice 90-two. I want to find a nice example. All the ones I ever find are .40 versions or beat to hell 9mm.

Thanks, I sold it a while back. Probably should have held onto it, I looked for a while to find one in 9mm.

Ebay, it looked trashed in the pics but it turned out to be nice and it was stripped so finding a D firing pin was near impossible. Turned out very nice however.

Posted it here once before, but I finally got it as finished as it'll be for a long time after switching back over to the Beretta OEM skeletonized hammer and original trigger bar.

14# spring gives a 9lb 5oz DA and 3lb 14oz to 4lb 2.8oz trigger pull.* So far, it's given me 0 failures or malfunctions with the setup.

*Three pull averages. SA seemed to be breaking consistently at 3lb 14oz, but there's a fair bit of overtravel so human error would bump the readings, giving an average of 4lb 2.8oz.

Did you have the Wilson combat trigger bar and hammer? Why did you remove them?

Where did you get your grip screws?

For me, the trigger bar with their hammer was drop-in. There was no fitting required, and as far as I could tell, there was no change in pull. It didn't remove any overtravel, and if it did change pre-travel or hammer arc, there was no perceptible difference. This is just on my specific gun, I know some others have required extensive fitting. With the WC bar and Beretta hammer though, it did not want to reset the trigger, since it would need fitting there. Instead of going and fitting it, I just put the OEM bar in instead. Again, no noticeable difference between the two for me.

And for the hammers, I just like the looks of the Beretta OEM skeletonized over the WC elite hammer.

They came from Wicked Grips as well. I believe they're the light rose color, or something like that? They have a number of different colors. Note that when running with their grips, they don't need or use the OEM washers. I haven't had then loosen up on me yet, so it's not a worry. YMMV if you're using other grips.

Hit a pawn shop up at lunch. Found this little lady hiding on the bottom shelf. $480 out the door. There are a few minor marks but nothing serious. It is an all Inox straight dust cover made in 1994. Complete with the original box and docs. I already ordered some new grip screws and some G10s from Lok grips.

Not the best photo but it will do for now. On the ride home.

I didn't like mine. Not sure what it is about it.

My new (1994), Inox. It is wearing a set of contract GI grips until I get my Lok grips and new screws.

Thanks, but I didn't care for them. They were too slippery for my tastes. They will live in the box and it will wear a set of G10s instead. When it comes to grips I prefer function over form.

How thick are Beretta's wood grips?

Have you thought about anything in aluminum? The Beretta aluminum grips look pretty thin. I want to replace the Goodyear truck tires my Brigadier Inox came with, but I'm not sure what to buy.

I have to ask: Dogs or Yellow Jackets?

Was never in favor of wooden grips on Berettas and yet, very impressed by these I just put on.
