Has anyone used the 13rnd promags in a 228? If so, how well do they work? Just looking for something cheap I can carry to the range.

I have a couple of the 13rders..... I wouldn't use them for CCW. (if it were legal in Ohio which it isn't so a non issue for me) I use them all the time at the range though to save wear on my pre-ban factory mags. Never had any trouble with them yet in either my P228 or the 15rders I've used in my P226.

Might be okay as range mags, but why not just get factory 10 rounders?

Man, I hope that idiotic bill sunsets on schedule...

Promags.....hmmmm.  I bought 5 13rders for my 228, all seem to work rather well (perfectly so far, not much use yet).  I also got some 8rders for my 220's.  They suck ass.  They FTF all the time.  I have taken them apart and cleaned the holy hell out of them, we shall see if that helps.  I cleaned all the goop out of the 228 mags before I used them all all functioned just fine.  I wish I could find more factory 13rders for the 228,  any ideas?
