A local shop has 10 Sig 229 Iraqi freedom models for sale, He claims that they will be a good investment because only 2003 of the were made and the weren't supposed to be out till October, he got his early, (nice looking piece by the way) If the price is in keeping with what happened with the 9/11 Berreta, The pay off won't be that great and in fact I may lose money, So what do y'all think ? Commerative Sig at $1000 or save my money?

I don't have much faith in these types of commemoratives gaining a lot of value.  If you want it as a rather expensive shooter, fine.  As an investment?  I wouldn't do it.  Watch-Six

Yep.  What six said.  You want a good investment?  Buy a standard SIG and keep the box and papers.
