I'm embarrassed to admit, but I've lost a grip screw for my p229.  I guess I didn't tighten it well enough after taking them off and eventually it worked itself off as I was shooting.  Anyway, they are the older flathead screw types and I was also thinking of replacing them with the hex head screws like the newer ones just because I think they look cool.

I suppose I could manually hunt them down with a thread gauge and go to the hardware store, but I thought I'd check here first.

If anyone has any information I would appreciate it.

a simple fix.  Brownells.com has a lot of sig parts.  I just ordered new nickel grip screws for a buddys 239.  Click here

Don't be embarassed...Sig grip screws have the reputation of unscrewing themselves under recoil and have for years. I have lost several off of my 226s and my 220s.

Ok, I'm not embarrassed then.  Maybe I could use some blue loktite or something.  I don't really plan on taking the grips off very often at all.
