Has anyone replaced their older "flat" take down levers with the newer "sport" ones yet?  My P220 has one but my P228 and P229 have the older version.  They cost around $30 each from what I've found (Brownell's).

I think the take down levers are the same. The Sports have extended controls including the Slide release, decocker, and mag release. Actually in my Sports, I changed the mag release back to stock..

The old one works fine for me.  I rarely have a need to take the pistol apart while under a timer.

I like the newer levers a bit better, but I wouldn’t spend a dime to replace the older ones.  They work fine, too.
