Gone.
You all move fast. Another random search and I stumbled on them. I wonder how many they had... I appreciate you all keeping track of those auction results. Very nice to know! |

@ProvenArmsOutfitters
Might you have any further info on these? Have you received the allotment from SIG? |

I’ve been keeping track. They’re now up to 23 auctions (16 still active) and at least 4 buyers from this site who purchased from their website. I do believe the “new user” who was bidding was probably legit, considering how the additional auctions have transpired. View Quote |

Just got my "call customer service" email from
Bud's. Typical bullshit from them, my guess is they saw what these could go for and canceled all orders. |

Interested to see if anyone here actually gets one shipped or if they realized their mistake after listing them so cheaply and just cancelled everyones orders. View Quote |

Buds does this all the time. They did this with pap ak pistols listed for 450 awhile back. Every order got canceled and they reposted at a higher price.

I did a completed auctions search at gunbroker. Used the search words "M17 Surplus". As of 2:30 central time on 12/31/19 there were 38 completed auctions. I did not include in this number any auctions that had completed with 0 bids, 1 bid or ended early. Out of the 38 legitimate sales I added up all the ending prices and averaged them. The average price is 1,398.75$

I just walked out of my local big-box sporting goods store where I talked to their purchasing specialist. “We’ve got two in route to the store as we speak. Do you want one?” “I sure do. Here’s my credit card.” $860 out the door.
I guess no one in China is aware these guns are a thing |

Either spend your New Year’s Eve drinking or spend it on Gunbroker, but never do both. Boy is this guy gonna be surprised tomorrow

The first three units to field the M17 were parts of the 101st, part of the 82nd, and the entire 3rd Cavalry Regiment. And yes, if a Supply Person runs the serial number in the Army GCS-A system, they can pull the history of when the pistol was in what unit; even if the pistol is no longer in the inventory. I haven't confirmed this yet but a Supply NCO informed me of such when I asked. I will probably test run a serial number or two from the GB listings next week. View Quote @M1A2Tanker, could I get you to run the serial on mine? |

Doggonit, I want one so bad I can taste it.
Can't track one down outside of gunbroker, and I'm not paying that. Grr! |

Picked this up today from Triangle Shooting Academy. They just received 5 today, and I and my buddy lucked the fuck out when I called. Jumped in the car immediately and made the 140 mile drive there, and left with it. ETA: price was 799 + tax |

Ok, I think I’m done tracking auctions now. One final entry:
As of this post, there are 27 active gunbroker auctions for “M17 Surplus.” Over the past 4 days, I tracked 43 auctionsto their conclusion. The average selling price was $1431.11. I wonder how long Buds is willing to wait before relisting all the cancelled orders in hopes of minimizing the backlash and what the new price will be.
Osage is probably watching these prices skyrocket and kicking themselves right now as well. I’m kind of surprised anyone sold these for $800, it was pretty obvious these were going to go for insane amounts the day the program was announced. |
|
I still have a pending order, but I expect I'll get a cancellation email eventually.

I think I’m going to track the auctions for one more day. There are 14 auctions that end today, then no other auctions that end for the next few days. Prices really started to climb a bit yesterday and I want to see what today brings.
I can’t wait to shoot one. I’m not a Sig guy but have considered buying an M17 civilian version because of “new iconic sidearm of the US mil!!” Super excited to have a ‘real’ one. Or two. Or three or four or ten. ETA: wooooh! 5 year badge! #teenercrew |

Today’s Auction update:
5 days of GB auctions 57 auctions completed Average selling price: $1,426.83 And if you’re a numbers geek like me, here’s my list o’ sale prices: ETA: Today’s auctions are in bold. Anyone know how many of these Sig will sell? I have seen some serials in the 5k range on GB but nothing over.

For those who purchased from PSA. I just noticed my account got charged on the 27th. But my PSA account still says order processing. Have others been charged yet?
