I have a Safariland 6378 holster for mine. Not much for concealment, but has retention and looks nice.

I don't believe 228's had a version with a rail.
What is your intended use? I have the newer M11-A1 (no rail) - for OWB I use a Blackpoint Tacticle. For IWB, I use a Milt Sparks VMII and a Alex and Ryan Design Kydex holster. I did use this for USPSA competition when I first started - for that I used a Bladetech holster. Can also use this for OWB, but it doesn't conceal as well as the others. |

At the end of the 228 run, Sig did in fact sell a P228R, which was just what you made - a P229 railed frame with a 228 slide on it. I'm assuming the frame you used isn't one of the E2 frames that uses the 229-1 15 round magazine, but the original one that uses the standard/older P228/P229 13 round 9mm magazines?
Any P229R holster should work for you... |
