Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - replaced my worn out 229 with red box 229

a few weeks ago I decided to sell my P229 .40 police trade in... it was in fair condition but shot well.  I sold it for $450 locally.  today I found a red box P229 .40 that is like brand new... $525  no night sights, but has the german frame...  so I figure for $75 I upgraded!

Doesn’t appear to be the same frame as on my P229. Looks more like a P228/M11 frame.Attachment Attached File
