Wow that's really moving. I'm surprised it's so much faster than the other +p+ rounds. But also surprised how much variation in speed there was with that one particular load. Bet that was pretty snappy in the hands.

Surprisingly it wasn't too snappy in recoil. It was the first ammo I shot today, so I didn't really have a frame of reference at the time. I'd heard that 9BPLE has been downloaded somewhat in the last few years, so I was hoping the Winchester +p+ would be faster than that. And it was. The old timers at the range were impressed with the numbers the chrono was putting out.

That was really interesting, thanks for sharing the results with us. Would also be interesting to see results through your G17 like you mentioned, or a FS 320 if you have one...

I don't have a full size p320 but here's a comparison of a few loads in my P320 compact and Glock 17.
Gold Dot 124gr +p Glock 17 = 1213fps, and P320c = 1141 Underwood Gold Dot 124 +p+ Glock 17 = 1287, and P320c = 1223 9BPLE Glock 17 = 1302, and P320c = 1222 |
