I have the full size. Haven't seen anything on the compact one. Will have to search on that. I love the full size one. Although only shot it a few times so need more practice to get used to the red dot.

Is that actual price or Sigs suggested retail? Have also been thinking about one of these vs. a Glock MOS

I paid $699 for my full size RX. MSRP is the same for both- $869.

Tough to beat at that price. Are the slides only milled to accept the Romeo optics?

Knoxville area. I bought it at Smoky Mountain Knife Works- technically Smoky Mountain Knife & Gun. They are A SIG elite dealer. They have the regular P320s with night sights for $529.

Right in front of Bud's and beat the pants off of Bud's on most of their gun prices.

Any idea if they will sell just the slide with optic?

Sure. Just as soon as the demand for the complete gun drops.

Right now you'd be better off just buying the RX, then selling off the trigger unit and frame.

Got mine for $749 locally yesterday. They had about 5 in stock, and received them last Thursday.

Also bought a threaded barrel for it and installed it same day. This will make a nice suppressor host.

I also ordered the Grayguns PELT flat trigger from Topgunsupply.com, which should arrive Wednesday.

Sold my full size P320 RX a while ago to get this, as Sig will not be making a full size 320 threaded barrel.

Feels good in hand, albeit a little top heavy. Not a fan of the trigger weight,  (seems to be about 6-ish pounds) but that's probably because I'm used to Zev and Agency Arms Glock triggers. I feel that the GGI PELT flat trigger will satisfy me.

Haven't got to fire it yet - waiting on my GGI PELT trigger before I put rounds down range.

Romeo 1 is nice. Doesn't seem as rugged as my RMR on my Roland Special, but glass is clear and dot is very crisp. I really like the motion sensing auto-on. Just wish this had an auto-brightness.

Happy with it thus far.

May buy another frame and send that out for some stippling if I end up liking the gun a lot.

Why don't you try a talon grip on it? They really helped my P320.

Waiting for more feedback, very interested as I have never had a red dot on a pistol, but I do like the P320 platform.

Given the price point, it's a perfect entry level pistol to see of you like red dot equipped pistols. That's why I bought mine.

LGS refused to order one "because Sig got the army contract, so we don't know when we will be able to order again."  this was from one of their Elite Class dealers.

These people think that they won't be getting ANY Sigs soon... this is why I avoid the stupidity of the LGS.

Wanted to get some opinions.    I was just thinking about the new RX and the X series RX coming out.

I think most of us on a defensive handgun believe you have to have iron sights.......Even with a red dot.    I found it odd that they would market their new X Carry but remove the rear sight.   Just curious what you guys think about them removing the rear sight?      The x grips are really help bring down the perceived high bore axis.    Sig said they would be sold separately at some point in time, and said they would fit the current 320 slides, but who knows if any of that is actually true.

Romeo1 has a notch in the back to cowitness with factory front sight.

Hoping so but, did not seem to set low enough on the standard RX to co witness with a factory front sight post,  it barely fits with suppressor height.

What's a threaded barrel go for? $150?

Also, are these only available in 9mm?

Do the RX models come with the slide cover?

I like the idea of it, but it would be nice if you had the option.  I don't like how they've done it on the M17 variant where the rear site and slide cover are one piece. (or at least it looks that way)

No, it does not come with a slide cover.

With any luck, in a few years we may see an M17 cover become available. I do not think it incorporates the rear sight.

Looks like it does from the pictures of the m17 online, but who knows what the final version will actually be.

Does anyone have any idea on the production numbers on these??

I sure would like to get my hands on one, but, they just aren't out there, and the one or two on Gunbroker are selling for "STUPID" money....

Makes me wish I waited and bought the RX compact.  I've the full size and still no threaded barrel for it yet.  I've the 320 Tacops Carry with a threaded barrel, but no RX slide!  Sheesh..I keep missing the boat.

I've a 226 Tacops, and I think I'll get the 226-RX just to swap the slide.  Other than the M&P Core Pro, I don't know of a stock 9mm that has optics and is threaded.

UGH!

I got super lucky and found one on GunBroker for a "Buy it Now" price of a NIB P320RX Compact for $850 about 2 minutes after he posted it.

They have been going on auction for over $900+

The dealer told me after I paid and he shipped it that he should have listed it for more .

The RX Compact is my second P320 in less than 2 weeks

So I just bought my 1st Sig P320 about 2 weeks ago... A P320c FDE.

I went to my local gun shop and now they have a P320c RX in stock.

I really like it, but I was hesitant since I already have a Compact.  I was kinda of wanting a Full Size P320 RX, but my local dealer said they have seen 0 Full size RX's (just the compacts).

So......

Do I buy it anyway?  I was thinking I could throw a Carry Grip Module on either my FDE Compact or the RX Compact and buy some 17 rnd mags... or maybe just keep it as a Compact and have 2.... or wait and try to find a Full Size RX...

Nice!! It's not normal for SGC to have good prices on guns, especially Sigs. They regularly ask like $1325 for their Legions
