The P220ST is wearing the Sport model compensator. The P228 is shown with a Laser Devices BA2 laser.

The P225 is a factory nickel model I found used for $560 shipped with 2 factory nickel mags. She's a great gun!

Yea I had a Sig problem for a while, but I think I'm over that (for a while)  I've developed a new problem with AR's, I bought a Bushy, fell in love and now I'm building a DPMS out of a Brownells Catalog The AR's are as addicting as Sig's

Posting my friend's pics of a refinished LE trade-in.  CDNN used P226 went from this:

to this:

He had it hard chromed after sending it back to Sig to have a trigger job done on it as well as new sights and replacement of the mainspring (I had already changed out the other springs).  It didn't really need any of the work but he wanted it to be top notch condition, better than new.   In the end, it still cost him less than a new in box Sig, plus it was enhanced and finished in his choice of bling.

Nice, but why'd he ditch the threaded barrel?

I was the original owner and those were the only pictures I had of it.  It was my range beater, my other P226 being a safe queen.  I sold it to my friend in a moment of weakness.  Naturally I kept the barrel and suppressor for my other P226.  That was the third LE trade-in Sig that I had bought.  It won't be the last LE trade-in that I buy.

Thanks!

Took the old war horse out today to check function. Worked like a charm and the finish appears to be holding as expected. I, as an experiment, also coated the entire barrel and chamber to check the hardiness of the moly. It's wearing in the appropriate spots.

Something about a well worn SIG.  Just gives me goose bumps.  Much better than a safe queen.

Wow BrainOnSigs, beautiful photography. Great depth.

Thanks....the key is setting up a decent light source. A flash is a no-no....it ruins the picture.
