Well....there may be a sig coming up....this guy bought a nine and a forty from someone who needed money.....he does`nt like anything with recoil...so the forty will most likely be up for negotiations.....problem is...I`m not real fond of40`s....guess it all depends on the money.......I`m thinking 450-500 this guy only deals in excellent condition....and when he gets his mind set on getting rid of something....it usually goes cheap.....may own a sig soon!

I don't know about the prices in your local market, but I picked up a 229 in 40 S&W this past Sat. at a large gun show that was 99% with 2 mags (10 rounders, boo!), box, etc. for $450.00 total price.
So, I'd say if you can get it for that price, jump on it.  You can always sell it down the road.
I'm gonna try out several 40 loads later this week.  Can't chrono, cause mine is still somewhere in Texas (PACT, Inc) getting fixed.

I`m not sure of the model.....I saw the guy last week...he was hinting around.....I don`t have a real problem with 40...actually...I convinced one of my friends to buy one...and he &I used to experiment with it...I was pretty impressed....(I always wanted a 4006 for some reason).....till I fell in love with 1911`s I guess.....I`m guessing at $450...as I said.   I do know for sure....if I carried in my work every day....that`s exactly what I would want......the local pd`s don`t allow anything larger....for the most part, for duty use....I have a delta....and a few 45`s...will keep you posted......

Actually, I'm thinking more along the lines of a limited run P230 in a non-standard caliber, like maybe 8mm Nambu or 9mm Glisenti.
