Hey just bought a new/used Glock 23. I'm in love!!! Best shooting accurate pistol I have ever owned. It feels like an extention of my arm. O.K. now for my ? I've heard all kind of conflicting stories on what you can and can't use as ammo in this gun. Is it true no lead?? Does this mean i can only shoot FMJ through this gun? What about jacketed hollow points or black talons. Ya I still have a stockpyle of the "evil cop killers" ahem bullshit. But i do like their expansion and stopping power. Any how any comments would be appriciated.

If you do shoot lead through it, be sure to shoot some copper jacketed though it after to clean out the lead.  The M23 was a good choice.  Lots of power in a small package.

I'm not sure if this is what you're asking, but Black Talons are just copper jacketed hollow points with a black lubalox coating. They're not lead bullets, and they're safe to shoot in your Glock. Somebody on Glock Talk thought they were lead because of the black color. If you already knew that, never mind.
