I'm finally getting my permit, so now I just have to choose a holster. What's the consensus about Glock 30 holsters?

I would take a look at Galco.

Good luck.

I carried one for about 4 years in a Sidearmor IWB. I don't think there's a better holster out there for CCW.
Check over on Glock Talk and you will hear Sidearmor recommended over most others. They (Sidearmor) are very nice people to do business with.

PS: They are right here in Arizona too.

I carry my G30 in a fobus paddle.....with a field jacket in the winter time, and in a Galco IWB (with thumb break)...I like the Galco but it is a 1911 holster that was modified to fit the 30....
If you wear a belt..look at the Royal Guard buy Galco...
I like the ones with the wide plastic clip...

I have used a Galco for CCW for 3 years no problems.

Thanks for your help guys. I'm liking the sidearmor rigs, especially the forward cant ones.

The G30 is my favorite CCW pistol. I carry in a Milt Sparks EX. Very comfortable!!!

I have used the SideArmor IWB and OWB holsters with great success. I also carry my spare mag and Surefire in SideArmor carriers.

Sidearmor is the best IMHO.

While not discarding all the above mentioned holsters, I have to say after having bought about half of what's been listed, I have personaly found the PagerPal to be my favorite so far. Took some getting used to and you can really put any gun in it if you switch out. Looks like just a pager on the outside but the holster is on the inside. Pull up on the pager and pull the gun with the other hand. Has anyone had any dealings with this setup? What did you like/dis-like about it?

I've got a Blade-Tech IWB and a mag carrier for the other side. Works great for me!

I like my sidearmor for my glock 30

I use an Uncle Mikes kydex paddle holster when I go out in the backyard at night. I am thinking of IWB for less of a "print" look, however. I've read good things about sidearmors as well.

If you're looking into a IWB, check out the ST-17 by Ted Blocker.

The only problem is Blocker is backlogged with police orders and will most likely take 6-8 weeks to get one to you.

I have to agree. I carry a G29 (same size as a G30 in 10mm), and the comp-tac fits so well that I hardly know it's there (which is not good sometimes). Fits my G36 too, albeit loosely.
