G38

I have one and like it. It shoots nice tiny groups at 10 yards and will fit a smaller hand better than a G21. Trapfan

I don't have one but I plan to buy one eventually. Having a G17 frame with a 45 like round is a big plus in my book. Ammo seems relatively easy to get at my local shop which is one of the things I was worried about.

If you can, try and shoot one before you buy.

I currently have a g19 and wanted a .45acp was thinking 1911. i 've had my g19 for years now and have got quite accustomed tothe feel of it , so the g38 for me was a logical choice. I was definetly concerned about the price and availability of the GAP ammo. but have found it relatively easy to find on the internet.

i must say, i'm no expert in the ammo arena, but the GAP is an interesting concept.

are city police here use glock 37's or 38's depending on the users preference. was talking to a female officer the other night about their glocks.

she said the .45 gap is a little more recoil than the 9mm but less than the .45. very managable to shoot she said. she liked the fact also that it is built on the 9mm frame.

the best part she has used glock all her life and what she told me s that she trusts glocks.
