I would like a long slide compensated 9mm is there one out there? Who could do a custom job?

I think the slides are cut, but the barrels are not ported. Am I wrong?

Correct, the slides are cut out to reduce weight so they will cycle, the barrels are not ported.

Is there a 17LC or 34C out there?

Glock produced a ported G17L in '88(IIRC) for a very short period and recalled the barrels because they were cracking.

No factory G34C but you can get an aftermarket ported barrels for them.

Glock made quite a few comped / ported 17Ls. I had one I shot the Hell out of and finally sold. I would happily have swapped that damned slotted barrel for a plain one if I could have. Mine never cracked, but it was a huge PITA keeping the front sight clean and there was pretty much zero benefit from the porting. (This was a series of three slots cut crossways in the top of the barrel at 12 o clock and not the two larger slots at 10 and 2 o clock as they do now)

I'm pretty sure there are 34 Compensateds, because when I wanted my plain 34, I had to wait until the distributor got a 34 non compensated model.

Owner of a G34 here. They are do not have a ported barrel. If I recall, you can buy an aftermarked compensated barrel, Topglock.com perhaps?

Glock most certainly made both a 34 and 34C, I have both. Glock Tupperware is labeled 34C as well. They are pretty rare. BTW, both are for sale/trade in excellent condition. I switched to the HK USP Expert.

Photos would be cool to see with all matching serial numbers, Glock does not acknowledge they every made a "G34C"

Will a senior moment cut me any slack? I eat crow, check twice...shoot off mouth once. I have'nt shot those Glocks for awhile and was thinking 24 and 24C not 34 and 34C. You would think the 9mm comments would have been a clue too. Sorry to mislead.
