I wanting to get another Glock 9mm but I am torn between the 17C and the 34.  Anybody have both, and what do you think?

Personally I don't like the compensated models but I love the G34s balance. My vote is for the 34.

I HAD a 17-C and could not tell any difference between the C and non C other than the C was much louder.  It didn't do much for me so I sold it.  I will be getting a G-34 in a few months.

I think the 34 would be a better choice.......I'm new to Glocks but I can see a 34 in my future

What are you going to use it for?

I have owned and carried both the 17C and a 34.  I prefered the 34 because of the better overall balance of the weapon.  The 17C shot fine, but I did not see any true advantage to the compensated barrel.  Just my opinion

no experience with a 17c  but I've had a couple 19's for about 12yrs &
I was shopping for a 17 this summer when I stumbled across a nice used G34

I love this gun, it may be my new favorite pistol, the balance & size remind
me of a 1911 & the trigger is great

get the G34

Quick question, this seems like the appropriate thread:

Will the 17rnd mags fit flush in the Glock 34, or do they stick out any from the magwell?  Can I use my G19 15rnd mags in the 34 as well?  Thanks.

15 rnd mags are a no go in the 34 it is the same size frame as a G17 so 17 rnd mags fit flush

THe Glock 17 round magazines are the same as the 34, you can also use the 17  mags in the 19, But you cannot use the 19 mags in the 17.

Good choice IMHO.  I added a G34 to the stable last year and absolutely love it.
