Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Question on slide mounted T1 (Unity Tactical Atom)

So I'm really thinking hard about shelling out for a Unity Tactical Atom slide because I want a red dot on my G17 and like the features of the T1 as compared to an RMR. My question is will the added weight of the T1 (or an RMR if applicable) cause the pistol to malfunction? If so how effectively can a different (higher or lower?) weight recoil spring resolve this issue? Thanks for any feedback.

If it does you can adjust with hotter ammo or lighter recoil spring.

I have a T1 that I am putting on a G34 tomorrow.  I'll post up how it does when I get over to the range.
