Just curious, will I have any issues using a G17 Gen4 barrel in my G17 Gen2?

And since I will have a Gen 4 barrel can I use a Gen 4 recoil spring?

Should work fine swapping only the barrel.

Awesome thanks, just found a factory G17 Gen4 barrel for $65. Better to try to not totally shoot out the original barrel.
