Getting ready to purchase my first MOS. Range gun, fun toy....anything that allows an old guy to keep shooting a little longer. No CC, secret squirrel requirements.

What is your favorite MOS model and why?

G17/19 is best option.  I plan to get G17 MOS but I might hold out to see if they do a front cocking serrations MOS.

I have a 19 MOS that I'm building into a Fauxland Special (Comp, RMR, Light... Fun.) but I'm already looking hard at a 40 MOS as I aready have a 20 and 29... so 40 makes sense for next Glock.

I'd love to get either a 19 or 34 for carry.

Really liking my G17 MOS with Deltapoint Pro for USPSA Carry Optics. I have a milled 19 though for ccw.

G34. Because.. 9mm? If its a range "toy" why would you spend a premium on 10mm?

G19mos for the win

Had a G34, G19, G21 and currently have a G40.

For 9mm I'll take a G19 every time. Perfect 'do-everything' size. My gen 4 G19 out of the box was more accurate and had a better trigger than my gen 3 G34.

The G21 was pretty tame with .45 and I could easily see going down to a G30 and still have an easy to manage pistol.

For 10mm I wanted to go with a G20 but my LGS offered me a deal I couldn't refuse in a gen 4 G40. I had no plans to carry a 10mm and haven't regretted it. Still on the fence as to whether I upgrade irons or add a red dot so the MOS option really didn't bring anything to the table for me. Just like the longer barrel & slide for hotter rounds and longer sight radius.
