Was thinking about getting one.

It would be for the 42, for summer carry.

Anyone have one

It works well on my G26. Options for lights for the 26 are very limited. There is a bit of a learning curve if you are use to using TLR-1, 2s, 3s, and 4,s.  I have to reach out a little more to access the button.

I had no need for the laser so I got the LaserMax CF-G42-LC flashlight for my 42s.

The TLR-6 is better designed which does not require a lower grip because the whole trigger guard is not cover, I also undercut the trigger guard on my G43 which would be negated by the LaserMax, the laser can be turned off, the TLR is cheaper, and much more holster availability.

I just put one on a G26. So far, I think it's adequate. It's not a X300, but it allows PID at SD distances. I could take or leave the laser, I have it switched off right now.

I got a Comp-Tac Merc for it, I don't really care for hybrid holsters so the Merc didn't really do it for me. I have a JM Custom Kydex  IWB4 coming and plan to carry the 26 routinely then.

I'll go with the in popular vote and say no. I went through two before I sold the third. Neither would hold a good zero, and broke the polymer on one at around 400 rounds. Spend the cash on a handheld and or nightsights.

I ordered one today for my 26. How is the battery life on them? are they rough on batteries?

I bought the TLR-6. Got a great deal....$88 bucks + 3 packs of batteries (2 ea pk) for 98 bucks, free delivery.

I have one on my G43 and love it.  I don't like to carry without a light.  I have had mine for over 6 months at least and haven't had to replace batteries even with showing it off at the shop that I work at.  I also got a g-code incog to carry it with and couldn't be more happy with it, just get a regular mojo over the super mojo for the G43.

Absolutely worth it.  I got mine on Amazon for like $90 something.  I don't care for lasers, so I leave the laser turned off, but love the light.
I don't like having any self-defense weapons without lights, and the TLR-6 meets my needs perfectly.  Having buttons on both sides allows me to activate it with either my trigger finger or my off-hand thumb, and it's plenty bright for any self-defense scenario I can imagine.  Battery life is great.
