As a small update. The barrels look to be moving at a good pace again.
The last 2 hook-up/sale barrels I have to offer at this time are a 19 threaded and a 43 threaded. Hoping to have additional barrels (If I get the ok) to hook up with our next batch. |
|
Received the G34 barrel, going to wring it out this weekend at the range and then send it on to MisterPX.
PMing AR-180 for his mailing addy to send it forward Monday! |
|
BTW, I sent it out via Priority Mail with tracking and it should be to the next member on the list by COB this Friday (in time for the weekend).
Sorry again for the delays... |
|
I too am sorry for the delay, but it is now in usps priority to the next guy on the 43 list.

200 rounds, mostly suppressed. Only issues (2 fte) were related to the Nelson device on the suppressor.
The barrel fit perfectly and ran beautifully. Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File |

I have the 17 barrel! Going to shoot it tonight and over the next few days.
I'll post some pics and info on what I do with it. |
|
I'll be shipping the g19 barrel out this weekend I've got 200 trouble free rounds through it so far
|
|
Brief update on the 17 barrel purchased.
Excellent fit. Accurate. 500 rounds no problems. non suppressed. only issue I have experienced is the thread protector shoots loose, but that's not going to be an issue for me soon. I think I will put a drop of thread lock on it for the time being. |
|
Thanks for the updates everyone! I'm very pleased to hear how they are working for you all and that they are moving swiftly.
Also, if anyone wants to purchase a Glock 43 threaded barrel with a 10% discount, I have one on my desk still. |
|
Please remove me from your G34 list, thanks.

My use of the G17 barrel I got it extremely dirty so I figured I'd see how it does in an ultrasonic cleaner. http://i67.tinypic.com/2nqwewx.jpg really dirty, but good looking thread cuts http://i65.tinypic.com/ap9n5.jpg http://i68.tinypic.com/261orc6.jpg http://i65.tinypic.com/33z8a4p.jpg http://i64.tinypic.com/f9nvyh.jpg After some splashdown in the ultrasonic cleaner, sparkle! http://i65.tinypic.com/wmffqv.jpg You can see the crown of the barrel. I'll touch on that more. http://i63.tinypic.com/2d5sab.jpg http://i66.tinypic.com/1zlaw51.jpg Glock factory barrel, Olympic's, PSA threaded, and ZEV threaded (G34). Slight differences in the hood area. http://i66.tinypic.com/2888ihf.jpg Same order. Notice the difference in length from the Olympic barrel and the PSA barrel http://i68.tinypic.com/almbno.jpg Olympic barrel. Fits well. http://i63.tinypic.com/bhm9hg.jpg http://i65.tinypic.com/2lxv0g4.jpg Notice the crown difference. Olympic on left, PSA on right (propped up) http://i65.tinypic.com/fascjm.jpg ZEV, Olympic, PSA. The Olympic has the more angled crown. http://i67.tinypic.com/w2nfgk.jpg What you really care about; how does it shoot? I shot 7 yards, 10 rounds for one string then 5 rounds for another string. Obviously accuracy will improve with good match rounds, so I wanted to see how it would work with some cheap 115gr stuff. No problems were experienced with any barrel. The top row is 10 rounds (ignore the low round on the top left plate, first shot and I knew I pulled it). Top row: PSA 10 round, Glock 10 round, Olympic 10 round Bottom row: PSA 5 round, Glock 5 round, Olympic 5 round http://i66.tinypic.com/15i11kn.jpg Overall it is a contender barrel. I think someone would be pleased with one. I didn't bother shooting it suppressed because I wanted to see how it shoots for accuracy and my suppressor blocks my sights for me to give a true sample. View Quote Awesome pictures and info! Thanks a ton for your feedback! |

Anyone try the TBRCi Micro Comp with one of these barrels? Interested to see if there's any gap between the comp and slide. Thanks!

What kind of warranty are you offering with these barrels? I posted back in November about all the problems reloaders have with these aftermarket Glock barrels being cut incorrectly so they can market them as "match" barrels. You replied that the Olympic barrels are tighter than Glock's, but looser than so-called match barrels.
I'd like to get a standard length one for each of my Glocks to shoot lead out of, and a threaded barrel for each unique model that I have. What's the plan if they start to seize up on in-spec loads the way Lone Wolf does? |

View Quote I can tell you SO FAR we have not had a single complaint about our barrels from any customers that have purchased one, outside of the thread protector not having an o-ring. Nor have we had to replace any. There's been no problems with reloads or factory loads, and have people within this thread also showing praise about the abilities of our barrels. Our Olympic Cerakote Glock barrels are without a doubt one of the best performers out there, as well as one of the best price points out there. |

Just shot the G17 barrel today, maybe 50 rounds or so. Shot it side-by-side with the factory barrel and a threaded S3F barrel.
For me the accuracy was excellent and had no issues at all, my groups were slightly better with the factory barrel and slightly worse with the S3F. |
|
I received the Glock 17 barrel in this afternoon's mail. Planning to range test a few hundred rounds this weekend and mail it on the next guy Monday morning.
Going to run the gamut of everything from Federal 115 +p+, to my match loads with 124 and 147 JHPs. Going to be fun. |
|
I've got the g19 barrel. Haven't had a chance to go to the range, been shit few weeks at work. Off next Weds, def going. Blowing off a ton of steam, plus, my shipment on 9mm will be in. I'll update then, probably going to put 1k thru it and my stock barrel. I'll update Wed night.

Seems like their a quite a few people that maybe should've planned a little better. This things taking way longer than expected.

I can't hold hands. This is the honor system, so the best we can do is hope people start moving them faster.

Range report-Went to the range threw a lot of different loads through the 17 barrel. 300 rounds in all. Old school Remington 115 JHP's, PD 124 JHP's, Zero 125 JHP's in .356, Zero 147 JHP's, nato ball and Bayou 147 flat points. Everything fed perfectly and ran 100%. No concerns over having to run shorter COAL. Great job on cutting the chambers guys!
Really like what I saw on target with the 147 bayou bullets. Would I buy one of these barrels after having tried it? Yes! Thank you Olympic_Cerakote for letting me field test your barrel. I have sent IM's to the next three guys after my name on the list. The first one declined due to work schedule conflicts. No answer from the next two. I will send one IM per day until someone answers. I will clean the barrel tonight and have it packed in a USPS small flat rate box. Ready to print a lablel and ship to the next guy who answers the IM. |

View Quote BTW if anyone is interested, I've received back a test barrel in the 17 flavor, and we have, dare I say, a blem that didn't meet my own standards for a 43 that's here. Both will be hitting the EE at a discount. The 43 blem isn't even a blem, just a slightly deeper crown than normal. |
|
Alright the Glock 43 barrel is now posted up in the EE. It's about 21% off. Great price for something that's basically perfect.

I agree. It looks like @gotuonpaper has had the 43 barrel for about two months now. View Quote I got the Barrel and had some work and family issues and stuck it in the safe hoping to get it out and shoot it and just plain forgot about it. It is totally my fault. I will send it to whoever is next in line tomorrow. 4/13/17. Can somebody tell me who is next? |
