My quote regarding the failure probably being related to the OAL was referring to a FTF. What you posted pictures of is related to how the mag is loaded. 2 completely separate issues.

Please email customer service so we can troubleshoot for you. The loading issue in those pictures is not a failure. You have to make sure that the rounds stagger properly when loading the magazine. If you are experiencing a different issue then we need to replace them.

Talked with Amy today and she's sending out a replacement. Going to compare it with the new one before I send it back.  Hopefully just an issue with this one mag.

Wow, haven't really been following this thread.  Bought 10 of the 31 rounders at Christmas as part of a package deal from PSA.  Started playing with one of them the other day, and it seemed to load OK.  I will make sure I take a couple next time I go shooting and run it a bit.

FWIW, I have never had issues loading or firing from factory Glock mags...and I run my reloads almost exclusively.  Reading this thread has been disappointing at best.  Will report back.

Way before I came across this post..... I bought several ETS magazines in various sizes for my g23 and g27. Along with a 30 round one for fun. They work perfect in all my Gen4 Glocks.  I plan on buying more since these have performed and held up well.

But they don't function correctly in my older Gen3..... They don't freely fall out like they are supposed to after hitting the mag release. Is this a known issue?

Where are the G42 mags!!! I have a bunch of your g17 mags that I run in my LTC/CHL classes. They work great and allow my students to count rounds easily so they don't load too many by accident.

I need those G42 mags though. Carrying a 6 round spare like I do now is pointless. The 8 and 10 round mags you are working on will be my go to spares for daily carrying. It looks like it will be a good height to drop in a pocket.

My replacement mags have all been 100%, and have over 10k rds through them now, mostly on various AR-9s and I'll definitely be buying more. Please keep us informed with the progress on the 10mm mags, and I will selflessly volunteer my time, ammo, and rifles/pistols for any needed 10mm testing!

The G42 and G43 mags are now being produced. They will be released in the next free weeks. We had a problem with the molds that had to be corrected and that set us back almost 6 weeks.

That said, here is how things ended up shaking down. The 42s and 43s will be available in 7 round (which will be flush like OEM), 9 round that is just long enough to plant your pinky on(IMHO gives user better control of the small frame), and a 12 round model.

These mags have been amazing in testing and are remarkably reliable. You guys and gals are absolutely going to love these mags.

I will make an announcement when we begin shipping.

Will the 9 round have some kind of finder rest or just hang out like a 17 round mag in a G19?

So far no problems with the replacement mags customer service sent me. I was able to replicate the problem while using a glock mag loader but no issues using a maglula loader.

What caused these 22rd springs to loose their sprong? A bad batch of metal?

Customer service has earned a sale... I just ordered 5 each of the 17,22 and 31 rounders... dipping my toe back into the 9mm Glock pool after a long absence.
Looking forward to giving those mags a workout.

The 31 rounders may inspire a 9mm glock-mag AR pistol build... I should have seen that coming.

Had a piece break off the follower in a 22rd 9mm allowing it to pop itself out of the top of the mag tonight.

After running about 1500 rounds of 9mm reloads through my various ETS mags (so far) I have come to the following conclusions:

17 Rounders... good to go.  Might make one my primary 'backup' mag for my EDC G19.  Ran everything even with me trying to create a limpwrist jam.  I like the idea of a see through backup mag for quick visual check of loading.

31 Rounders... good to go.  Run fine but seem silly for most handgun usages... looking really hard at a 9mm Glockmag AR pistol now to justify keeping them around.

22 Rounders... might just be my Glocks (and Poly 80 compact), but I'll just go ahead and say that they're great 21 round mags.  22nd round causes FTF pretty frequently off 2 of 3 mags in all my guns.. 1 will feed that 22nd top round just fine as long as it's in my Gen 4 G19 MOS, the other two jam up on slide release.  Not a deal breaker, I'll just think of em as 21 round mags for my uses.  Great range size.. not ridiculously long or off balance and good capacity.

I think I need to get some of the 15 rounders... a see through flush fit mag might be nice.

What were the weather conditions when this happened?  I had failures just like that out of ETS and MAGPUL mags during high humidity conditions.  Also happened at Steel and USPSA/IDPA matches.

Our mag material is not hygroscopic, meaning it won't absorb or react with water in any way. Humidity doesn't affect our mags at all. If you still have trouble with any of our mags please call customer service and we will take care of you.

Then I don't know what the problem is.  This happened across multiple magazines with different types of ammo tired to see if it was an ammo issue.  The mags I had got exchanged once already and the new ones had the same issue when shooting outdoors in high humidity environments.  I gave them to local shooters with full disclosure of the issue I was having with them.  Not sure if they've experienced the same issue.

I've had this issue with the MAGPUL magazines as well and those are no longer part of my equipment as they have been given away as well.  I'm not saying ya'll make a bad product, but they didn't perform for me as well as they apparently do for other people.  And apparently other folks are having the same or similar issues as well.

Where can the G43 mags be purchased? Is there a specific retailer that has them in stock or from your website? Any insight will be appreciated. Thanks!

It arrived! It wasn't alone either! The ETS sticker will be on the back window of my truck soon, with my other favorites. Great timing too, I lost a bet and had to put a Cubs World Champions sticker back there for 6 months and I finally get to take it off today.

I got this 22 rounder when they first came out. I have never gotten more than 21 in it. The follower is touching the bottom of the magazine.

Thoughts?

OK after seeing some images of a loaded 22 rounder I am going to try and force it. The last time I tried it dented the round in front of it with the loader.

UPDATE: Got it! No way anybody is doing that by hand.
