Picked up the 43 Saturday, looking forward to carrying it this summer. Just got done removing the grooves and stippling the 19. Feels much better in the hand now for sure

Tough to photogram the urban camo Cerakote, which extends from the slide to the frame. Still waiting on the TiN-coated, fluted barrel and guide rod from Deus Ex Machina. Those have been paid for, just waiting for a batch to get shipped out.
Frame work, Deus flat trigger, Deus magwell, HD-XR's with orange front, I took a page from my custom 1911 days and asked that the mag release and the striker plate cover be textured to match the frame. Internals are otherwise stock. I think the Deus guide rod comes with a different striker spring, so I'll see how that runs. I've put 200 rounds through it as-is, and really like it. I've owned a whole lot of Glocks over the years, and this is by far my favorite. I'm planning to do a G19 for carry with similar mods, except that gun will retain the OEM barrel and guide rod, and the OEM trigger. Also, the G19 slide will have recesses, instead of windows, to keep gunk out. |

Thanks, guys. Yes, the back strap was reduced a bit, but the frame work was done knowing that the Deus magwell would be installed. No modifications were made to the magwell, or the plug area in which it installs - obviously other than Cerakoting the mag well to match. It's a great bit of kit, and amazing how well it blends to the Glock frame.
I've got a one-stop shop here in OC - OC Custom Coating. They are a great Cerakote shop, they've got a local guy for the slide work, and another local guy for frame work. My buddy works at OC Custom Coating, and when I saw his G17, I knew I had to have one of my own. I have three Glocks with frame work by Tactical Texture and Triggers. I'm going to sell all three, and replace them with guns done by this local guy through OC Custom Coating. The feel of the frame is perfect for me, and I love the look of the texture. |
