Must be something in the water.  I keep finding myself buying Glock after Glock with no recollection of why.

It is still an interesting tidbit of info. Thank you OP for sharing.

Haters gonna hate I guess.

Intro of the 4th Generation Glocks brought out all of the kool-aid drinkers...

P.S. I've drunk the kool-aid but haven't bought a 4th Gen.

Did they dump OD Green to replace it with Hot Pink?

Not really a hi-jack since that pic was in the article linked above .

Thanks for clarifying your point - I was bewildered by the onslaught of conflicting and past dates.

While that truly is a fascinating historical tidbit, it may be more meaningful with a little context. Perhaps this will help some: Marketshare Analysis

Funny, I kinda like the smell of my posts.

You quoted it as 1st quarter of 2010 when it's clearly not. Hence the bashing.

And most all gun makers had spikes in sales that time due to the gun ban scare.

A fiscal year need not be the same as a calendar year.  Tax Years

In that time there was a Glock sale. Not sales. Once the shelves were empty, we did not see Glocks in stock till this last year and late 09.

But I am doing my part for Glock sales in the third for 2010. Got a 26 I'm picking up on the 14th. [happy new Glock dance smilie]

"spike in sales" == "spike in the number of handguns sold"

not "spike in the number of discount events"

I had no trouble buying Glocks throughout 2009. Wasn't aware of a discount nor of empty shelves.
