Looking to put an Aimpoint red dot on a Galil.  Would this be the best mount to use?  Anybody have one?

I bought one of them, but haven't had a chance to use it yet.  I have a nearly-identical one that's screw-knob instead of throw-lever, and with it the scope sets pretty high above the reciever.  The cheek pads you see for sale every now and then are very useful with a scope setup.
