Ok I am scrounging parts as usaual (imagine that) and I lay hands on this metal Galil folding stock. Now here is the strange part. the top tube looks slightly bent to the left as you are looking at it from the butt end. Strange thing is it looks as if it is supposed to be as it enters the butt on the left side. Is this supposed to be this way or is the thing actually bent? let me know before I go and straighten it. Oh yeah does anyone know how to take the butt end off of the two tubes?

My factory Galil stock is plastic, so it cant be bent, and its offset to the left to compensate for the folding mechanism, with the butt-plate being offset to the right to center the whole thing in your shoulder. The stock itself is perfectly straight.

Yeah I think this one is bent... Nothing a couple of well placed hammer blows won't correct. So there I was in the garage with a Galil stock and a hammer...
