From AIMsurplus.  Got rid of the ugly black foregrip crap, put on Yugo wood grips (sent from a user!), put on a random EG sling I had laying around, put the Yugo PG back on, and put a US-made slant break on.  It shoots perfectly straight, and is definitely my favorite AK.  Oh yeah, and that's an Izzy bakelite.

Here is my Yugo UF Century build. Obviously not as nice as some above though it is mine. Have a looksee..

I dont like how the black is all over the map. Different shades of it everywhere. I may get it blued to match my B1 custom build. In the meantime I may just refinish it myself.

I cant complain too much cause it is tight and straight. The lower handguard doesnt even budge and the mags are tight....for now. Havent fired it yet.

But that's not the model of 1947.  It's not milled.

But that's not the model of 1947. It's not milled.

And that's not the Model of 1947, either.

The Type I had a  stamped receiver, not milled:

The later Type II and Type III (the one more commonly and mistakenly associated with being the "original" AK) both had milled receivers.  But the original AK had a stamped receiver.

So not to waste the thread, I'll post photos of my M70AB1 here when it arrives in a few days.

Just came over to the darkside!  Picked this Yugo up from a local dealer for $575.  I refinished the wood since the buttstock was brand new and as raw as raw can get and the handguards didn't match at all!  I used dark brown and red Rit Dyes in a denatured alcohol carrier.  I then applied four coats of Tru-Oil over top of the dye job.  The mag is one of fifteen AIM $10 Romanians that I received today, all in excellent+ condition.  I also added a set of XS Big Dot sights.
