Did you notice any pronounced trigger slap?

During dry fire the trigger is just "feeling" the fit between the trigger pin and trigger itself and the hammer spring sliding on the back of the trigger extensions. When cocked and ready to fire the trigger is sliding across the sear face of the hammer it is holding back and the above parts.
The trigger pin holes and bearing surface on the pin itself where the trigger rides can be cleaned well and lubed with a trigger type lubricant. The hammer sear surface can be "polished" up to make it less "gritty" feeling. Don't sandpaper or file anything, by polishing I mean with a sharpening type stone. Sometimes just a real good cleaning and lubing can do wonders to a gritty trigger pull. Sometimes the trigger sear is sliding across a burr on the hammer sear and polishing this out can really help.
