WASR rifles are not being imported now because the Cugir factory is using all of its capacity to fulfill military contacts. Word is that importation will start up again soon - unless her majesty is elected.
Zastava NPAPs seem available but are being snapped up quickly due to the impending election. |

This makes me glad that I got mine last year for $700.
But I highly doubt that it's going to become a permanent ban. |

Zastava, like Cugir and Arsenal, has its hands full with orders from warring combatants around the world. This means fewer rifles for the US commercial market. Thankfully, there doesn't seem to be a shortage of NPAPs currently in the US supply chain, so I don't expect we'll see availability issues in the near future.
