how can you tell what year maadi?

Much thanks to anyone who can answer this....ive had a Maadi for some time now, how can you tell what year it was manufactured?

On many of them, on the left side of the rear sight block there will be some engraving, one of which is the crown the Pharohs wore, which honestly looks like some squiggly lines. There should be a two digit number there as well, like 93, 92, etc. That's what year it was made.

thanks, its hard to read but I guess its a 93....mine is so poorly engraved its tough to tell

I have a Pars Maadi that has no date at all sn 000XX. It is a 20 inch barrel and has no crown but just Egyptian mark on receiver.

Every Maddi rifle imported came with a sling,cleaning kit,cleaning rod,owners manual,magazine, and one of these in the box.

So not every Maadi rifle had a date stamped on it. Maadi rifles imported by PARS and ACC/INTRAC were imported 1992-1995.
Century Arms imported or assembled Maadi rifles 1997-1999.
