Well excuse me if I'm beating a dead horse, but I'm new to the AK thing. To get to the point, I want an AK with a folding stock that I can get dirty and throw around without worrying about. I saw these GP WASR 10. I was wondering if this is a good deal or if I'm barking up the wrong tree.

Thanks

If you know of a better deal plz let me know.

nothing wrong with a wsar, a lot of people complain about not having dimples or about the finish- but its a great ak. the problems it MAY have, but i dont notice them being too common, are easily fixed. transforms into a wonderful beater ak that is as reliable as the rest.

that being said. order a romanian wire folder for 50 bucks- bets thing out there for a folder.
do it while they're around.

As Cigolon said, get the one with the wood and put on your own steel romanian folding stock.

I don't much care how the finish looks, that can be easily fixed. I love tinkering, Dremel is my good freind.

Where?

Anyone have better deals?

I got a WASR 10 from Aimsurplus.com and it is a great little rifle. Jam free after the first 500 rounds. Its in the pic section under romanian pictures if you wanna see it.
