Is there any way to remove the scope rail from an SAR2 without too much effort?  Mine always gets in the way of bump firing, because i am left handed.

Grind the rivets off; not fun or easily reversed. If it is just the sharp edges that affect your hold, maybe a temp cover such as tape layers or used gum to form a simple ridge.
