Here's a second attempt to post a pic. It's not AK or even AR related but it's cool anyway.

edited; Daughter was uncomfortable with her pic on the net, so I changed to this one. It's the inside of a B-17 looking forward towards the bombadiers postition.

Can you guys see the pics or are they red X's. Help me out guys, what do you see?

i can see the pic.'s perfectly (i know the "red x's" yer talking about - none here) btw- nice furniture on yer rifle, if mine had looked like that i might not have bedlined it.

Actually the wood looked like it was shaped with a chunk of cinder block. I did sand it down with 100 grit and then restained it and it came out a whole lot better.

Yes, that is the 40 rd mag that came with the rifle.

The one red x beside the AK pic is something I could edit out of the address I'm sure.

I'm using a HP 215. It's something like a 1.3 meg camera with a fixed lens around $130 or so. Not a real bad little camera, but it ain't nothing special.

Thanks for the responses guys. Hunting Pictures (Hunt101) new format is real easy to use. Even I figured it out.

Here's a pic of the SAR-1 with the refinished wood. I sanded it down with 100 grit, no reason to get too carried away, it's only an AK

, and stained the wood with Tru-Test Cherrywood stain and Fromby's Low Gloss Tung Oil, because that's what I had on hand.

Nice pictures. Usually, at least on my computer, when someone has a picture of their rifle its so dark that I have to download it then brighten it up to see it. Yours looks real nice. Also nice AK. Was wanting to get a SAR-1 sometime soon. If you got it from a dealer which one did you get it from. From looking around I see 2 possibilities; either Atlantic Firearms or Aim look like good choices.

Always use a flash, even if outside. Most people don't understand the idea. In fact, that is the north side of the fence, in the middle of the day.

I bought the gun from my local dealer who had several in stock. The rifle and box both say Century, of course, but I have no idea where he bought them.

It's Dupli-Color black DH1602 HIGH HEAT Ceramic 1200 degree. It's a little shiny but not too bad. The can has a black lid with white letter and the can is burnt orange in color. I got it at WalMart. The finish looks just like the Siaga AKs.
