I received a nice matching numbers kit (paid the extra $10 ) from them yesterday. They were nice to deal with on the phone.  The ad says they are ex- police rifles. More like a standard stamped steel AK with wooden forend and a typical Hngarian pistol grip. Not like the AMD's with the metal front ends and vertical grips .  Anyone know anything about this particular model ? ?

All preban and most postban Factory Hungarian rifles imported into the US were semi versions of the SA85. You are correct, they are built more or less to the AKM pattern. They are some of hte nicer AKs available, and are frequently quite accurate for AKMs.
