Well, this is a little late but better late than never...

I hauled my Arsenal Inc. SAM-7 Carbine and my Glock 23 out to the range for a little action.

The Range:

I loaded up with 5 waffle mags of Barnaul and two 13 round mags of .40 Wolf:

The Glock was an old friend but the SAM-7 Carbine was a new experience so I tried her out first. No target pics this time (the targets were all shot up so I had to use different color markers) but I can tell you that it shot 2 MOA slightly to the left and slightly low. Performance was flawless. I even tried my hand at bump-firing (though I was only able to manage 2-3 rd. bursts)

Then I took them both up against Mr. Bowling Pin:

Needless to say, while a tough opponent, it just didn't hold up to the withering firepower:

Yes, that is a .40 round stuck in the pin!

In all, I was overwhelmingly impressed with the SA M-7 Carbine; it shoots as pretty as it is:

As far as the Glock goes, well... don't leave home without it!

More in the future...

Excellent post, looks like a lot of fun was had.

You definitely need to be careful about being a good distance away from pins when shooting them with a handgun, I've seen rounds bounce off them, especially large slow moving rounds like a .45 ACP FMJ.

Interesting blend of furniture on the SA-M7 Carbine!
