I own / owned many FR's and have never gotten one with a canted front sight. Have they been having issues lately?

i was told many stories on the issue with canted sights. i believe it was some of the earlier ones.
anyways i found a combo block. now i need to find an AK smith. who can install it for me. |

installing the block is almost as easy as fixing the cant in the front site, if you bought a Bulgarian one that is. The Bulgarian is a direct replacement for the gas block. The Russian on sits a bit closer to the receiver. I'd look in your hometown forum for someone in your area that has some experience and see if they will help you do it. Much more satisfying that way.

The new unfired 107fr i just traded for this week is straight. Think im just gonna resell it thought. But hey sounds like tge straight sites should make it a easy sell. Lol
