Looking for a folding type AK with rail for red dot found these two I liked abut I would like your opinions before ordering one.

My opinion - I hate shooting under folders - the cheek weld is bad and it feels like a 2x4 when you shoulder the stock
and no matter what kind of "para-cord" fix you can make on it - still feels horrible.
Vector makes a great rifle - just not what I like (preference)

The only issue I can think of since you mentioned you wanted a folding stock with the ability to scope the rile is this.
The Arsenal is a side folder and if you use the side mounted rail to mount an optic you cant fold the stock..since it
folds to the left...

If it was my money though you can bet I would be getting the Arsenal - Just a better all around rifle

Buy the Arsenal 107F. I have one, and it has been an outstanding rifle: tough, ultra-reliable, and decently accurate with quality 7.62x39mm ammo. I have fired a lot of Kalashnikov rifles, and the Arsenal 107F beats them all. The side-folding stock makes for a remarkably compact package (mine fits in an ordinary, unremarkable tennis racket bag), one heck of a lot of serious 7.62mm firepower in a small, light package.

I have a 107fr and a vector woodie underfolder.
I like them both.
if I had to choose to keep just one of those two I'd keep the 107.

the vector is nice though, the 107 is more of a "rifle" if that makes any sense

i have had a few underfolders and just got my first slr107 sidefolder a few months ago. and i have to say without a doubt go with the sidefolder 107f. the underfolder is old technology like a 67 chevy truck. there aint nothing wrong with a 67, looks cool, old school feel, but a newer truck is better.
