I fired a round at the range and the trigger has become stuck int he fired position. I have not been able to push it back. When I stripped it down, I also noted one of the eclips had popped out. I've googled it and only found mention of trigger slap. Any ideas?

I'm assuming one or both of the axis pins has come loose.

I don't know who used e-clips on it.

Most are shipped with a retaining clip of wire. Lot of people replace it with a metal retaining plate.

Be careful and wear eye protection. The hammer spring will eat you up and you'll have blood everywhere. Or find an AK enthusiast, it's a piece of cake by someone with experience.

All kinds of retaining plates, you can buy them from ebay, Midway, just about anyone has them.
