I just installed it and it works great!

Unlike the Tapco G2, this fits perfectly in the trigger well. In fact, I've seen pictures of Romanian trigger groups online and this looks identical. Considering my AK-47 SAR-1 is Romanian, I guess it would make sense that it likes this trigger group.

The only thing that required slight adjustment was the safety bar. It wouldn't slip past the disconnector upon installation. It was a fraction of a millimeter too snug a fit. A tiny bit of filing on the bottom left corner of the safety bar easily fixed that. The safety works perfectly in terms of stopping the trigger bar.

The trigger was at first a little gritty but after cycling it a couple hundred times it smoothed out and now it's silk. It's a moderate-length first stage followed by a very crisp second stage.

I'm very happy so far and I can't wait to take it to the range! Anyway, I don't know what was wrong with my Tapco G2 trigger group but my FSE trigger group works. For those of you looking for an alternative, you might want to consider it. It's also about $5-10 cheaper than the G2.
