apparently, the whole time i have been searching for 7.62x39, the gi joes i can walk to from my house had em hinking.gif

they had american eagle 124 grain fmj
$10.99 a box

i bought the last 300 rounds they had
we will see if they get anymore

Not sure where you are in Oregon but you should give Sportmans Warehouse a try. I haven't checked the one in PDX lately but I did buy a bunch of Wolf FMJ at the one in Missoula, MT last month for $2.99/20rnds.

yeah, these were it

however, northwest armory had some american made steel cased, it was $60 for 250rd
the manager guy there said they were expecting a shipment of wolf

but im hoping to get a better performance out of the american eagles

I'm pretty sure HSM manufactures reloads. This would be the first I've heard of reloaded steel cases ammo though. BTW, Stevensville, MT is where my folks live

ETA: I just checked the HSM website and it looks like brass cased 7.62x39 ammo they manufacture.
