I didn't realize that the Yugos used 5.45x39.  Are you sure that's the country of origin?

So how do you clean an AK thats fired corrosive ammo..

Like You have to clean the bore obviously, then the gas tube, gas port, action, etc. Sounds like a real pain in the ass.

Anal method. Hot soapy water like with a black powder rifle should work.  Rinse with boiling water will dry most of the metal.  Dry, run patches through bore with bore cleaner, dry patch, Windex on patches, oil, check for rust for a day or two. Gas tube, gas port, chamber, bolt and carrier.

Clean with bore cleaner, run patches until clean, run patches with windex, dry patch, oil patch. Spray parts down with Windex is something that has been posted before.  Oil and then check next couple of days to make sure rusting isn't present?

Any one else got any idea if this will neutralize the corrosive?

Since an acid (corrosive) conteracts/nuetralizes an alkaline,  is there any mildly alkaline cleaners out there???  Use that at first,  then clean normally?.?.?.?

Yugo and Russia use the same abc writing.

Actually,....

"Yugo" (meaning Serbian, as the Slovenes, Bosnians, and Crotians all use the Latin alphabet), Bulgarian, Ukrainian, and Russian all use slightly different 'Cyrillic' alphabets.......

But I get your point

Yes, Windex.  Windex, the proprietary neutralizer of corrosive salts. Windex, "If you spray there's no need to pray."

Why would there be a problem? Wolf ammo isn't even made in Russia, IIRC it's made in Yugoslavia.
