Hello one and all,

Have a question . . .

Have a couple of kits left to build. One's a Romy kit and one is a AMD-65 kit.

Was thinking about building the AMD-65 as a AK pistol - - - or could build it as a rifle, by adding an extended muzzle brake.

So . . . . what to do ?!?!?!?

Thanks ! !

I would build it as a rifle.

They throw a nice fireball BTW.

SBR?

By the time you mess around buying compliance parts to make a rifle, you spent half the amount of the tax stamp...

I'll post some pix of the one I just finished
as a bullpup probably by this weekend.
The metal forearm is already set up for
a pistol grip, it was a good bit of work
but it turned out very well.
Truly an "Evil Black Rifle"!

It was the third AK I've built
first was a polish underfolder,
then a AMD side folder rifle
then the Bullpup.
The dry ice and acetone worked great!

Finished the Pole in DuraBake Parkerize
and the other two in Flat Black Molyresin

I like these beasties

Nice brake ya got there, Mosses brake?

I say build it as a rifle, the reason so many people built pistols with these kits is because they used to be 60 bucks, Now there 200 plus. I say build it and enjoy it as its intended purpose, with a little extra length. Here's the one i built. McM

I bought one for a $100 bucks thats going to be a pistol
then I bought a couple NEW ones for not much more that are going to be rifles.
I won't SBR it yet I already have 2 rifles getting that treatment right now
If you only have one I say go with a rifle
