What is a MILLED receiver?

Machined or "milled" from a solid block of steel. (as opposed starting as a flat piece of steel and stamped into shape by a machine.)

Since I posted, I really would like to get an AK with a milled receiver and wood stock, but I do not want to spend an arm and a leg.

Generally, the two do NOT go together... They start at the higher mid range- $600 or so.. And up from there. |
