Don't these people know all they would have had to do was import these things to out distributor's and made a quick $. The photo's look to be from the late seventies to the mid-eighties so these MG's could have easily been broght in and registered.

Pile of M60's with AK mags...

Pile of Czeck ZB30's...

Pile of AK47's...

Pile of M2's........

Pile of HK-G3's w/Kar 98's....

Pile of Miniguns ( one could be a 5.56mm ) , .30 and .50 cals, RPGs and magazines.

Pile of M60's and Brens..

Pile of German MG 34s.

Thomsons...

Last but not least, a whole damn field full of weapons!

More can be found here.

The Letterings on the sign are Cambodian or Thai...My bet that it is Cambodian, as that country is crawling with UN types. We all knew that the UN loved to see piles of good rifles go up in smoke.

If I wasn't already comforted in the fact that most of those doing the burning wouldn't live to see the age of 45, I'd go over there and do some killing myself...

Having been to many shitholes with the locals carrying weapons, I see nothing wrong with them burning the things.
Link Posted: 2/13/2006 7:58:15 PM EDT
Didn't anyone tell them that a burning AR stock gives off toxic gases?
Link Posted: 2/13/2006 9:00:49 PM EDT
Burning guns is efective on gun control as burning books as mind control.....

adolf tried it and failed
Link Posted: 2/13/2006 9:44:26 PM EDT
I understand why they would want to burn them; I'd probably feel the same way if I grew up in a war torn country. Still though, thompsons, 98ks, mg34's. etc... Every one of those weapons has to have had an amazing journey to end up in southeast asia; how i would like to know the stories, and shoot them while I reflect

Commie governments.
If you destroy the guns not in .gov hands, there is no chance of an uprising.
IT has nothing to do with peace - that's just commie bullshit propaganda.

Since these are what was collected up by the Vietnam .gov after the war do you guy's think those M60's were picked up off our dead troops by the NV's?

Ever been to the Balkans, middle east, etc?

They do the same exact shit there, and it has nothing to do with Communism, Hitler, or any of that.

They are not confiscating them from responsible citizens....

Stop drinking the NRA cool aid.

If this same scene was happening in Hometown USA, then I could understand being angry.

All the old WWII stuff is only rare in the US. They sell it all over Europe in civilian form.. Either live or deactivated. The Russians are still sitting on bunkers full of the stuff.

+1

The last thing I'd want if I lived in Cambodia is for those stock piles of weapons to fall into the hands of the Khmer Rouge still lurking in the jungle.

All those M60s and M16s were prolly ones WE left cause why bring it back after the war. It costs more to bring it back than to make it again and sit on it till the next war.
Link Posted: 2/15/2006 5:19:53 AM EDT
that'll buff out.

I hate thug enforced stagnation.

Shit like this makes me livid.

When these pictures were first posted years ago, it was said the guns were from a military base in the UK.

Agreed. But seeing a work of art like a MG-34 or a Thompson stacked up and weathered in such conditions is indeed a sad sight for many like ourselves.
