A WASR with a surprisingly good finish and wood set.

Nice blonde stock set. How much did he pay for it? Judging from the stock, looks like he bought it off someone used?

my wasr 10 came with the exact same wood it turned brown from use and dirt as it did not have a protectant. anyway i refinished it by sanding and adding a clear coat, altough i wish i didnt refinish it it looked well used.

Haha I think he paid a little too much.  $450 with the mag and another wood stock.

I have a WASR made in '04 with the same stock set. I bought it days after the AWB ended.

I agree with you guys; that's the first WASR I actually really like. Love the blond furniture.

All WASR's say WASR on them... isn't that a SAR?

I think the engraving "WASR" is in the receiver left side.  I believe it also says "7.62 x 39" on the left side.  The manufacturer info. is on the receiver right side - as shown above in the pic.

It still wouldnt be a SAR because it has no mag dimples. A sign it was a low cap receiver that was milled out to accept hicaps.

Nope, WASR is on the right.

I think this is some weird century SAR maybe.

Or something.

I put in my 0.02 that its not a WASR, but some kind of SAR... thing.
