Who has all the SAR3s?

I dont know why but I suddenly really want an AK in .223.

Everybody says to only use Weiger magazines....but will those polymer magazines work?

If anybody no longer wants theirs and is looking for something else....ill be willing to trade my Arsenal no-ban SLR105A1 for it.

if I was able to trade my SAR3 for your rifle, I would...but im in NY.

SAR3s are desirable rifles now....few came into the US.

I love mine to death.

Only Weigers work...converted bakelites are garbage for the most part, some do work though. Polymers dont work (Bulgys dont fit)

Had this one since '01. It is a survivor of 19months in guccianos chicken coop and a resucitation by INRANGE.

Good luck finding one.

The bakelite mags work but I have found a friend pointed it out to me and he was right ! that the 223 bakelites that don't work have 5.45 followers, and there is a difference!
I could'nt find a sar3 either so I bought a wasr3 and am very happy but still looking for that sar!

Who has the WASR3 in stock? A web search yielded no results.
I need another .223 AK like I need another hole in my head.

Spaceghost,

Can you elaborate on the difference between the 5.45 and the 5.56 followers???

The bakelite mags are for the AK74, not the .223. Century found it cheaper to supply a 74 mag with a different follower that will allow .223 to feed correctly. My SAR-3 came with a bakelite mag with .223 stamped on the floorplate. I've since bought a pack of Weigers for it.
