The thought just crossed my mind. The absolutely best price I've seen on a Krink, and I don't know how many he has left, is $999-1149 from ORF. Other places I've seen them up to $1500. And that is with some kind of a barrel extension to make 16". The now discontinued Arsenal SLR-105A1 has a MSRP of $625. They sold for less.

What do you think the market would be for factory Krinkove SBRs from Arsenal? After all, they make the damn things. If you could get an Arsenal factory AKSU-74 with a folding stock, short barrel (of course) for say $825 plus $200 tax, would you buy it? Would enough sell to make it worth while for Arsenal to build them?

I doubt you could get them that cheap if they have to recup the making fees and paperwork going Title II/SOT, adding a person to do Title II paperwork and tranfers to class III dealers wouldn't be cheap at all
